OOTD | Business Casual

I have mentioned this before, and I will say it again, I truly believe that a black blazer is a piece that should be in everyone's wardrobe. A black blazer is so versatile. It is the perfect piece for the working professional. It can be dressed up with a skirt or slacks for an interview or business meeting, or dressed down with a good pair of jeans or leggings. Today's outfit is a blazer look that I would consider "business casual."

Here I am wearing my black, 3/4 ruched sleeve blazer from Torrid. Underneath the blazer, I'm wearing a white, light-weight tunic tank top from Old Navy. I've paired the blazer with some great boyfriend jeans from H&M+ and a pair of cool, black, almond-toe wedges with with an ankle strap from Nine West.

For accessories, I kept it really simple with a long, silver, geometric pendant necklace (I can't remember where I got this from, it was either H&M or Forever21) and a handmade silver ring that I got as a gift from my mom. Similar rings can be found on Etsy.

I love the contrast between the structured blazer and the relaxed, somewhat distressed jeans. This combination is simple, but sophisticated; it's casual, but also very put together.
