Morphe Brushes | Haul & First Impressions

I recently made a purchase from and just received my order in the mail, so I figured I'd do a quick haul & first impressions post.
If you are not familiar with Morphe Brushes, they are a cosmetic company based in California with an online shop. They sell makeup and makeup tools/brushes at very affordable prices. I first heard about Morphe Brushes from various beauty bloggers and youtubers including Jacqulin Hill and Kathleen Lights, and after doing some research, I was interested to try some of these products out myself. My order includes one of their eyeshadow palettes and eight of their makeup brushes.

Before I get into the products, I would like to point out that Morphe did package the products very well. Living in Alaska, I often worry about certain makeup products, especially palettes, making it here completely intact, but Morphe doubled up on the bubble wrap, and everything made it.

(I'm sorry if a couple of the brushes appear dirty, it didn't occur to me until after I used the brushes,  that I probably should have photographed the products before using them, my bad)

Morphe 35 Color Warm Palette $19.99:

Like the name suggests, the 35 Color Warm Palette I purchased consists of 35 colors ranging from light, neutral browns to deep, dark purples (and even black), with a variety of matte and shimmer finishes. This palette is a great all around palette that can be used to create casual, everyday looks, as well as dramatic looks for special occasions or a night out on the town. As you can see from the swatches provided, the eyeshadows have nice pigmentation and are fairly true to color. They apply like a dream and are so easy to blend. I absolutely love this palette! AND it costs less than $20!

Morphe Brushes:

I won't go into too much detail about each of the individual brushes, because these are just the first impressions, but if you're interested in any of the brushes here is a list (links included) of the brushes I purchased:

So far, I quite like Morphe makeup brushes. The quality is great for the price. I haven't experienced any shedding yet, and they don't feel scratchy on the eye. There are certain brushes in my order that I love more than others. For instance, the angle liner brush, which works amazingly well with gel liner; The pro firm blending crease brush, which applies crease and transition colors beautifully; And the deluxe buffer brush, which is a fantastic brush for applying both powder and liquid foundation. The other brushes not mentioned are still great, but those were just the stand out brushes for me.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with my order. I am excited to create and share new looks with all of you. If you are interested in seeing any looks that I create, follow me on Instagram! @allisonmmcintyre
